One of the questions we ask ourselves most often, when we consider traveling to Guatemala, is whether to take security measures.
We have to say that we also asked ourselves this question and the answers we found were, for the most part, not very encouraging, or at least, they did not encourage us to travel to the country, but the experience was very good and if you act wisely you should not have any mishap.

If you had any doubts about traveling to Guatemala because of its gastronomy, forget it.

3. Lake Atitlan
Contrary to what it may seem at first glance, Lake Atitlan needs, if possible, several days to enjoy it. Our first perception may be to arrive, spend a few hours and already have the feeling of having known it.
Nothing could be further from the truth, because we must take into account that Lake Atitlan is surrounded by several villages, 12 of them named after saints, among which are Panajachel, Santiago Atitlan, San Pedro la Laguna, San Juan la Laguna and San Marcos la Laguna, which is said to be the most beautiful village on the lake.
4. Tikal
One of the things to keep in mind in one of the main enclaves of Guatemala are the entrances to Tikal. The price of the ticket that gives you access to the park is 150 quetzales per person.
The problem comes if you are staying inside the park, in one of the three hotels, because if you arrive at the park before 3:30 in the afternoon, you will have to buy two tickets, one for each day of your stay, even if you don’t want to access the ruins on the day of arrival.
In short, Guatemala is a nice country that has many wonderful places that you can visit. In fact, these places have been improved due to the green bonds that have been invested. For this reason, these places are much more beautiful.
